Morning Announcements for Friday, March 17th

The Charger Café will serve Bosco sticks with marinara sauce or Reuben sandwich or fish sandwich OR Daily Grab & Go, OR Salad Bar, Shamrock soft pretzel, peas, sauerkraut, Luck O the Irish Frozen Fruit Cup, and milk for lunch today.

The weather for today is cloudy and windy with a high of 42.

Today’s trivia question is: Which U.S. city dyes its river green in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day?  

A reminder to all student council reps, there will be a morning meeting on Monday, March 27 at 7:10.  That’s is the first day back from spring break.  

Congratulations to the 8th grade Power of the Pen Team of  Elena Moore,  Alaina Cowley,  Eric Gibson,  Oz Rutger,  Ella Pennell, and Jay Durr for placing 3rd out of 29 teams at the Regional Tournament held last Saturday. Ella Pennell placed 10th out of 85 writers and Elena Moore finished in 15th place.Both will represent EMS at the State Competition at Ashland University later this year.

The STUDENT COUNCIL 6th – 8th GRADE PENNY WARS STARTS MARCH 28.  Start saving your pennies!  May the best class win! The answer for today’s trivia question is that Chicago dyes its river green in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.
