Morning Announcements - Wednesday, September 14, 2022

Today is Picture Day!  All students must get their picture taken even if you are not purchasing a packet.  We will begin calling students down at the start of 1st period.  Please go to the gymnasium when your group is called.  If you are purchasing a picture packet, please give your order form and payment to the photographer.  If you have any questions, please stop in the office.  

The boys soccer team continued to battle all match against Old Fort and soundly defeated Old Fort 3 to 2.  2 goals were scored by attacking mid fielder Jonah Main and 1 goal was scored by freshman forward Jose Serna. Outstanding contributions were made by the back 3 defensive players led by center back Noah Proctor, Langdon Day and Isaac Sloan. The midfield play remains brilliant. Alex Davidson and Nick Strecker continue to bring high soccer I Q to this area of the pitch. Thursday the boys play home to Oak Harbor at 5 pm.

The girls tennis team lost to Willard on Tuesday 2-3. Winning for the Lady Chargers were Alli Vogus at singles and the doubles team of Sara Gates and Keira Keoghan. The Doubles team of Sara and Keira beat Willard’s undefeated doubles team in two sets! Way to go ladies!! 
The JV tennis team had a rough outing last night versus Willard, but we had a doubles team shine through with a win! Congrats goes to Lilly Kreglow and Rowen Smith!
If you are interested in joining Key Club please pay the $10 dues by Wednesday, September 21. The first meeting will be Thursday, September 22 at 7:40 am in the auditorium. We will elect Key Club officers at the meeting. If you are interested in running for office please sign-up in the library.
Attention Juniors and Seniors who have qualified for National Honor Society this year - we will have an informational meeting on Thursday at 2:55 in Mrs. Facemire's room. To qualify you must have a 3.75 cumulative GPA and should have received an invite in homeroom and an email with information. If you are unsure if you qualify or have any questions, please see Mrs. Facemire.
Reminder to all senior athletes and senior band members, be sure to complete the Most Inspiraitonal teacher night google form that was emailed to you.  If you wish to participate, your google form is due by Tuesday, September 20th.  
Attention Speech and Debate competitors:  Sign up to rehearse or meet with Mr. Amstutz on the bulletin board outside the main office.  Mr. Amstutz will be at EHS on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
