Picture Day at Edison High School is this Wednesday starting at 8 am. All students must get their picture taken even if you are not purchasing a packet. Students will be called down to the gymnasium at various times. If you are purchasing pictures, please take your completed packet and payment to the photographer when you are called to the gymnasium. If you need another order form or have any questions, please stop by the office.
Patriotism and Charger Pride were high on Saturday night under the lights at Seneca East's Stars, Stripes, and Lights Night Race. The ladies won the team championship and the boys finished 7th out of 18 teams. Grace Anderson won the D2 race in a time of 18:57 which is a new sophomore school record. Other award winners on the night included Peyton Facemire (4th), Maylie Weilnau (10th), Lily Rinser(21st), Jackson Michaelis (8th), & Kellen McDonnell (14th). Maylie Weilnau, Lily Risner, , Kaira Gulett, Rory Conrad, Nikki Vesely, Gabby Mesenburg, Kellen McDonnell, Colin Butler, Henry Bates, Chase King and Quentin Cox all ran lifetime PR's. Both teams will run at the Galion Cross Country Festival on Saturday.
The varsity volleyball team lost to Monroeville 16-25, 14-25, 11-25. Karin Wlodarsky had 13 digs, 6 points, and 2 kills. Olivia Wilson led the offense with 4 kills, followed by Jorja Byington with 3 kills. Ella Habeck had 11 digs and Taylor Moore added 10 digs to go along with 5 points. Kalli Quillen dished out 7 assists and Natalie Leimeister added 6 assists.
The JV volleyball team lost to Monroeville 14-25 and 24-26. Stella Brown served 6 points.
Attention current National Honor Society members - our September meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 13th right after school in Mrs. Facemire's room. Please see Mrs. Facemire with any questions.
If you are interested in joining Key Club please pay the $10 dues by Wednesday, September 21st. The first meeting will be Thursday, September 22nd at 7:40 am in the auditorium. We will elect Key Club officers at the meeting. If you are interested in running for office please sign-up in the library.
Attention Speech and Debate competitors: Sign up to rehearse or meet with Mr. Amstutz on the bulletin board outside the main office. Mr. Amstutz will be at EHS on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
