Happy Birthday Avery McIntrye!

Picture Day at Edison High School is this Wednesday starting at 8 am.  All students must get their picture taken even if you are not purchasing a packet.  Students will be called down to the gymnasium at various times.  If you are purchasing pictures, please take your completed packet and payment to the photographer when you are called to the gymnasium.  If you need another order form or have any questions, please stop by the office.  
 
The girls tennis team beat St. Mary’s in a double header on Monday 3-2 in both matches. Getting wins in the first match were Alli Vogus and the doubles teams of Ivy Kluding/Lizzie Campbell and Keira Keoghan/Sara Gates. In the second match wins came from Alli Vogus and Ivy Kluding at singles and the doubles team again of Keira Keoghan/Sara Gates. Great job ladies and keep working hard!! The team travels to Willard later today! 
 
The Lady Chargers JV tennis team played against St. Mary's last night and got wins from the doubles teams of Lilly Kreglow with Madison Kuhl and Isabella Wilson with Chloe Dials. Way to go!
 
The varsity volleyball team beat Ontario in an exciting 5 set match, winning game 5 by a score of 20-18.  Karin Wlodarsky slammed 27 kills and had 21 digs.  Kalli Quillen dished out 25 assists and Natalie Leimeister added 15 assists.  Olivia Wilson had 7 kills and 4 blocks, Ella Habeck had 18 digs, Taylor Moore served 20 points, and Jorja Byington had 4 kills, 6 points, and 4 aces. 
The JV volleyball team lost to Ontario 24-26, 14-25.  Gracie Rang served 3 points.
 
Attention current National Honor Society members - our September meeting will be held today right after school in Mrs. Facemire's room.

If you are interested in joining Key Club please pay the $10 dues by Wednesday, September 21st. The first meeting will be Thursday, September 22nd at 7:40 am in the auditorium. We will elect Key Club officers at the meeting. If you are interested in running for office please sign-up in the library.
 
Attention Speech and Debate competitors:  Sign up to rehearse or meet with Mr. Amstutz on the bulletin board outside the main office.  Mr. Amstutz will be at EHS on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
 
Need help in math?  Not sure how to solve an equation? Can't graph? Hate proofs? There is hope! Come down to the Math Lab in room 401, Mrs. Facemire's room, anytime during 5th, 6th, or 7th period. Bring your lunch if needed and get the help you need! She is there to help with homework, answer questions, retake tests with, and to help you be the most successful math student possible. Never be afraid of math again!!
