Morning Announcements for Tuesday, January 31st

The Charger Café will serve baked rotini with meat sauce and a breadstick OR Daily Grab & Go, OR Salad Bar, Italian Blend vegetables, fresh veggie with hummus, assorted fruit and milk for lunch today.  

The weather for today is some sun and quite cold with a high of only 20. 

Today’s trivia question is: What was the height of the world's largest snowman?

The deadline for handing in your design for the yearbook cover has been extended to this Friday, February 3. You may drop off your design to the main office or give it to Mrs. Bishop.  

Power of the Pen has practice on January 31 from 3-4:30 in Mrs. Hansen's room and practice on Friday, February 3 from 3-4.  

The annual Valentine's Day Carnation Sale for Grades 6-8 sponsored by the student council runs through February 8. You may purchase a carnation to be delivered to any student in grades 6-8 for only a dollar.  The carnation will be delivered on Valentine's Day during 9th period by the student council representatives.  Just go up on the stage during homeroom to place your order. Make sure you know the student's name and grade when filling out the card.   

There will be no Choir practice this Thursday, February 2.

The answer for today’s trivia question is that the height of the world's largest snowman is 113 feet and 7 inches.
