Happy Birthday Ruby Afong-Kealoha and Laila Bartow!

 

The boys varsity basketball team dropped two games over the weekend to Oak Harbor and Western Reserve. The boys were led in scoring Friday by Kayden Bourget, who had 12 points, and Jack Brown and Luke Blatnik each added 11 points. Saturday the boys were paced by Kayden Bourget's 16 points, Davin Wendt had 9 points, Jack Brown had 8 points, and Luke Blatnik chipped in 7 points. The boys return to action this Saturday when we host Firelands. 

 

The Lady Chargers moved to 6-11 over the weekend with a 44-35 victory over the Oak Harbor Lady Rockets. Leading the way for the chargers was Jillian McDonnell with 11 points, Iszie Sanabria with 8 points, Kalli Quillen 6 points, Ivy Kluding 6 points, Peyton Taylor 6 points, Natalie Leimeister 5 points, and Taylor Moore with 2 points. The Lady Chargers JV squad scored a 44-32 comeback win to move to 9-9 on the season. 

The Lady Chargers are back in action tomorrow night at the ThunderDome against the Norwalk Truckers. 

 

The Sources of Strength campaign for January is Positive Friends & Mentors. Stop and see Mrs. Wilson or a Peer Leader If you would like a polaroid picture taken with your Positive Friend or Mentor to display on the poster in the hallway.  If you want to purchase friendship bracelets they are in the library before school. The cost is 2 for $5.00 or 1 for $3.00.
