Important Homecoming Announcement: If you plan to bring a guest from another high school, please be sure to pick up a visitor form from Mrs Davis or the office.
Homecoming tickets will go on sale Monday, October 3rd and be on sale through Friday, October 7th for $15.00 during all lunch modules. See Mrs Davis with any questions.
The Girls Soccer Team won a thriller last night at Bolt Field, 5 goals to 4. Tied 4-4 with 30 seconds left, Lainie Keegan played in a spectacular ball to Abbi Hearing for her 3rd game winning goal of the season, and 4th on the night. Izzi Sananbria scored earlier in the match and Haley Chaput had 2 assists. Bree Marcy had her best game of the season with 11 saves. Next up is Perkins at home this Thursday for Senior Night at 5 p.m.
The varsity volleyball team beat Gibsonburg 25-8, 23-25, 25-20, 25-17.  Ella Habeck led the team with 10 kills, followed by Olivia Wilson with 9 kills and Jorja Byington with 7 kills.  Kalli Quillen had 18 assists, 14 points, and 7 aces.  Natalie Leimeister had 10 points, 3 aces, and 13 assists.  Ellis Kramb served 16 points with 5 aces and had 9 digs.  Taylor Moore led the defense with 12 digs and Peyton Taylor had 2 kills. 

The JV volleyball team beat Gibsonburg 25-9, 21-25, 25-15.  Stella Brown served 17 points.
If you are interested in wrestling this season please sign-up in the athletic office by Friday, October 7.  Coach Hermes will be having a meeting with all interested athletes near the end of October to review items for the upcoming season.

Tuesday 9/27 - Positive Friends & Mentors - Twins Day - Don't have a "twin" Wear a tie-dye shirt to "twin" with Mrs. Roan, or wear a grey shirt and blank pants to twin with a fellow student! 
Wednesday 9/28 - Sources of Strength Color Wheel - Colors Day - Check with your 3rd period teacher to see what color is assigned to your class. 
Wednesday 9/28 will be our BIG Kick Off Assembly, we will have an AM assembly schedule that day. 
The Edison Drama Club will be hosting an Ice Cream Social after school on Tuesday, September 27th from 3-3:30 or so. This will be taking place before rehearsal for those involved in the Peter Rabbit Cast. Everyone is welcome to come join us and enjoy some ice cream!
There are still tickets available to go see Hamilton at Playhouse Square in Cleveland on December 14th!  See Mrs. Facemire or Ms. Parker for information. This is open to parents and family members as well."

Volley for the Brave volleyball game against Huron is taking place Tuesday October 4th at Edison High School.  The event starts at 4:30pm, JV game starts at 5:00pm.
Bake sale, basket raffle, and 50/50.  All proceeds benefit The Maxton W. Soviak Memorial Foundation.  Winners will be drawn during the varsity game.  You do not need to be present to win.  See Sara Wilson for more details
Attention any girl in grades 9-12 interested in playing basketball this winter. There will be a signup sheet located in the Athletic Office Tuesday through Friday this week. Please be sure to stop in and sign up by Friday. Any questions, see Coach Kurt.
There is a Spanish Club meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 in the Collaboration Room for anyone interested in joining the club.
