There is another Interact Club volunteer opportunity happening Wednesday, May 14th after school by the main doors. You will have the opportunity to work with Mr. G and other Interact members to plant flowers and bring the summer feeling to our school! The Boys track team competed at the Bellevue Invite last night. Placing for the boys was the 4x8 team of Jackson Michaelis, Jacoby Valimont, Everett Gfell, and Kellen McDonnell. Colin Butler and Austin Mankin placed 4th and 5th in the 110-meter hurdles and 3rd and 5th in the 300-meter hurdles. Trevor Leimeister placed 4th in the 100 and 2nd in the 200. Jackson Michaelis placed 8th in the mile, and Aiden Reeder placed 2nd in the 400. Kellen McDonnell and Quentin Cox placed 4th and 6th in the 2-mile, and rounding out the running, the 4x4 team of Aiden Reeder, Austin Mankin, Jacoby Valimont, and Jackson Michaelis placed 5th. In the field events, Wesley Seel placed 8th in high jump, Austin Peck and Caleb Jeremay placed 2nd and 4th in pole vault. Great job, guys! The team will compete next Tuesday in the SBC Bay division prelims at Gibsonburg.
Bellevue Invite Summary
The Lady Chargers competed at the Bellevue Elks Invite last night. Grace Anderson was runner-up in the mile, 3rd in the 4x8 (Anderson, Risner, Z. Corfman, Johnson) and 5th on the 4x4 (Berckmueller, Anderson, Krieg, Risner), Julianna Johnson was 3rd in the 2 mile, Zoey Corfman finished 4th in the 200m and 5th in the 200m, Ingrid Berckmueller was 3rd in the 400m and 5th in the 100m, Lily Risner was 7th in the 800m, Kendal Kryger was 8th in the 100m, Joy Jordan was 8th in pole vault! Next up for the ladies is SBC on Tuesday and Friday!
After a week of rainouts, we are finally back at it!! The softball team won at Willard last night and was led by N. Desautels, who had 3 hits. P Taylor, A Cloud, and A Wechter each had 2 hits. Ivy Kluding added 2 RBIs. Abby Cloud got the win with 11 strikeouts. Great win! Go Chargers!!!
