Morning Announcements for Wednesday, April 27th

Today The Charger Cafe chicken pot pie casserole over biscuit, or Daily Grab and Go, Romaine side salad with cucumber, assorted fruit, Charger cookie and milk.


The weather for today is breezy and cold with times of sun and clouds and a high of 41.


Our riddle for today is: What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away?  


In an attempt to raise funds and supplies for the shelter, TLC is asking for donations that include supplies such as paper towels, bleach, dog toys, cat toys, and pet treats. Please bring in new pet supplies to the main office and put them inside the box by the door.  Don’t forget to fill out one of the slips of paper with your name and a phone number. Put your slip of paper inside the decorated box for a chance to win different prizes.  


This Friday, April 29 student council is hosting a Western Spirit Day.  For this spirit day, we would like you to wear your western attire like denim jacket, jeans, or a skirt.  A plaid shirt with a cowboy hat and/or boots. 


There will be no tutoring in Mrs. Ehrhardt’s room after school today.


The Power of the Pen has practice April 27 and April 28 from 3-4 in Mrs. Hansen’s room.


Today the 8th grade will be taking their Mathematics test. Students and staff are reminded to be please be quiet in the hallways this morning.   


The answer for today’s riddle is that charcoal is black when you buy it, red when you use it and gray when you throw it away.
