At 4:15 today girls tennis is at Calvert. At 4:30, freshman, JV and varsity volleyball is at home with Clyde. At 5:00 boys varsity soccer is home with Vermilion, and at 5:50, girls golf is at Huron.
The Edison Girls soccer team continued their winning ways on Wednesday night with another road win over Sandusky by a score of 3 to 0. Leading the scoring for the Lady Chargers was Abigail Hearing with two goals and the other goal was scored by Amelia Chartrant. Leading another stellar defensive performance was goalie Claire Treece and defensive backs Isabella Sanabria, Jillian McDonnell, Lauren Craig and Haley Chaput. This makes two back to back shutouts for the Chargers. The team will be back in action on Monday with its first home game of the year against Huron at 6:00pm.
The boys golf team lost to first place Margaretta 182-168. Connor Betts was medalist for the day leading all golfers with a fine 38. Matthew Pounds shot a 43. Luke Perry contributed with a 48. Parker Campbell rounded out the scoring with a 53. The Chargers continue their play this Sat. at Norwalk Invite
The Edison Girls Golf team defeated Margaretta on Wednesday night at Thunderbird South 206 - 253. Scoring for the Chargers were: Ava Grant 39, Madison Butler 53, Meredith Unger 54 and Jamie Teed with a 60. The Lady Chargers are at Huron tonight.

The Athletic office is now selling pre-sale tickets for the varsity football game at Bellevue on Friday night. All pre-sale tickets are $5. All tickets at the gate are $7.
Last year's yearbooks will be available for pick-up and autographs tomorrow morning before school in the cafeteria! Please see Mrs. Roan if you have any questions.
Attention athletes - if you earned your varsity letter in the past you are eligible to purchase a varsity E pass for $25. This gets you into every event all year long. Stop into the athletic office to get yours this week!!

Students interested in joining the Speech & Debate Club should plan on attending a short after school meeting on Tuesday, August 31st! Returning club members should also attend for this year's tournament schedule and officer nomination forms! The meeting will be in the new collaboration center.
