At 12:30 today boys golf will be at the Edison Invite. At 4:15 girls tennis is home with St. Joe, and at 5:30, Jv & varsity volleyball is at Gibsonburg.
The Cross Country teams put together many great performances against many Division 1 schools at the Todd Clark Cloverleaf Invitational Saturday. Grace Anderson led the way with an impressive 8th place individual finish, helping the girls team finish 7th overall. Peyton Facemire, Kennedy Baker, Zoey Corfman, Ava Miller & Mary Anderson all ran their lifetime bests. On the boys side, Aidan Anderson led the team to a 13th place finish. Jackson Michaelis broke into the 17's for the first time, and Jeff Snyder broke in the 19's for the first time. Everett Gfell also ran his personal best. Both teams will be off this weekend, and return to action for their final meet of the regular season on October 9th at New London.
Any student that is interested in joining Key Club, there is an informational sheet outside the office. Key Club dues must be paid in the office by Tuesday, September 28th.
Edison staff is sponsoring the Edison Do RIGHT Breakfast this semester. If you want to be invited to this delicious breakfast make sure you meet the following criteria: 2.5+ GPA, 2 or fewer absences, 2 or fewer tardies, 2 or fewer detentions and no class removals, Friday Schools or suspensions. If you are interested in wrestling this season please sign up in the athletic office by no later than Thursday, October 7th. Coach Hermes will set up a meeting in mid-October to meet with the individuals who are interested and discuss the upcoming season. The first official practice will be Friday, November 12th.
