Morning Announcements - Monday, January 10, 2022
At 4:00, bowling is at home with Port Clinton. At 6:00, girls Jv & varsity basketball will be at Firelands.

 Charger Bowlers took on Old Fort in another conference away match on Thursday. 
The boys got out to a slow start and came back strong in the bakers but eventually fell to the Stockaders by 139 pins. Leading the boys was Aydan Houser with 341 and Devon McLaren with 264. The Chargers girls came out hot and never looked back winning by over 500 pins! Leading the girls was Allison Collins with 321 and right behind Piper Ball with 301. Great job Lady Chargers!
 
Congrats to Lady Charger bowlers placing 3rd in the team standings in Saturday’s SBC Conference Tournament!  Great bowling from Piper Ball placing 2nd in the individual medalist with a nice 532 series!   Charger guys finished 5th overall out of 8 teams and bowled well but couldn't get it going in the baker games. Leading the charge was Wyatt Ball with 515 and Aydan Houser with 486.
 
The boys varsity basketball team lost at Vermilion this past Saturday. The boys were led in scoring by Troy Rutherford who had 12 points. Kayden Bourget added 8 points, and Brady Barker added 7 points. The boys return to action tomorrow night when we host Clear Fork
 
Thank you to Emma Hall, Kelly Wilson, Malachi Bowen and Fiona Shella for representing Edison at the North Area Thespian Conference on Saturday and congratulations to Kelly Wilson and Fiona Shella on their performances at the Conference.
 
Congratulations to Noah Proctor and Sara Gates for placing 6th in Policy Debate and Jeff Esser for taking 2nd in Big Questions Debate this weekend at the Chardon Tournament. Miss Baughman will be here today and Wednesday for Speech practices after school. The sign up for the next tournament is posted!
 
Any student wishing to take the National Spanish Exam must sign up with Profesora or Profe by this Thursday, January 13th. 
 
Auditions for Once Upon a Mattress, Edison's spring musical, will be after school Tuesday January 11 and Thursday January 13.  Crew applications are due January 13. Information is available on the bulletin board in front of the auditorium.

Attention all football players, the Charger Pride challenge draft will be this Sunday at 11:30 in the field house.  All interested players should plan on attending! Questions? See Coach Hall! 
 
TLC will be hosting a cake raffle during the boys basketball games on Friday, January 14th. The boys take on Huron in the Thunder-dome. The price for raffle tickets are one for a dollar or 6 tickets for five dollars. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to win a sweet treat of cakes, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, or even pies. Attention all members and potential members of National Honor Society - please remember that your service hours are due at 3 pm this Thursday January 13th. Please turn all forms into Mrs. Facemire ASAP and see her with any questions.
 
Tickets for the SnowBall dance will go on sale today for $10 each, they will be available during your lunch hour through Thursday the 13th and the dance will be held at EHS on Sunday January 16th.  EHOVE students can stop in before or after school in Mrs. Davis room.
