Charger Boys Bowling Team went up against a very much improved Margaretta team tonight! The Polar Bears came out hot and ran away with the match rather quickly! Leading the Edison Boys was Christian Compton with a very nice 361, Aydan Houser with 353 and Wyatt Ball with 344.
 
The boys varsity basketball team won last night against Clear Fork 45 to 37. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 14 points, Luke Blatnik had 10 points, Brady Barker had 8 points, Jack Brown added 7 points, and Troy Rutherford added 6 points. The boys return to action Friday night when we host SBC rival Huron. 
 
Students are reminded that with the cold weather upon us, do not leave your chromebooks in your car! It's not good for them!
 
Auditions for Once Upon a Mattress, Edison's spring musical, will be held after school Thursday, January 13th.  Crew applications are due January 13th. Information is available on the bulletin board in front of the auditorium.
 
Attention all football players, the Charger Pride challenge draft will be this Sunday at 11:30 in the field house.  All interested players should plan on attending! Questions? See Coach Hall!
 
Attention all students interested in working outdoors with kids of all ages, Sports Force Parks is hiring a variety of positions for the Spring and Summer seasons. From working on the Field crew to the amenities crew, there is a position that suits everyone. Representatives from Sports Force will be here over the lunch periods on Friday, January 21st. Please stop and see them to see if Sports Force park is the place for you.
 
For students interested in taking CCP courses next school year, the College Credit Plus Family Information Night will be on Monday. January 24th at 6:00pm in the High School auditorium. For families that do not feel comfortable attending this information night in person, the presentation will be recorded and posted on the High School website as well as sent to you through Final Forms. It is required that new CCP students and their families view the presentation and strongly encouraged for returning CCP students as well. We will cover what CCP is, delivery formats, benefits and cautions of CCP, next steps, required paperwork and placement testing. Please contact Mrs. Kovach with any questions!
 
TLC will be hosting a cake raffle during the boys basketball game this Friday, January 14th when the boys take on Huron in the Thunder-dome. The price for raffle tickets are one for a dollar or 6 tickets for five dollars. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to win a sweet treat of cakes, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, or even pies. Hope to see you there!
 
Chess Club will meet today after school in Mr. Newton’s room.
 
Any student wishing to take the National Spanish Exam must sign up with Profesora or Profe by this Thursday, January 13th. 
 
Attention all members and potential members of National Honor Society - please remember that your service hours are due at 3 pm this Thursday, January 13th. Please turn all forms into Mrs. Facemire ASAP and see her with any questions.
 
Tickets for the SnowBall dance are on sale now for $10 each, they will be available during your lunch hour through Thursday the 13th and the dance will be held at EHS on Sunday January 16th.  EHOVE students can stop in before or after school in Mrs. Davis room.
