Morning Announcements - Wednesday, May 25, 2022
The varsity baseball team lost to Perkins 8-1.  Xander Danner and Dominic Dymond each had one hit and Blake Simon scored a run.  Carson Smith pitched the first three innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 earned runs.  Keegan Smith gave up just 2 hits in 3 scoreless innings of relief and Joe Pennell pitched the 7th inning and had one strikeout.
 
The JV baseball team concluded their season Tuesday night with a 14-4 win over Perkins.  Cy Finnen was 3 for 4 with a double and 6 RBI's.  Aiden Drake was 2 for 3 at the plate with a double, a triple and 4 RBI's.  Luke Blatnik, Abe Hermes, Davin Wendt, and James Bickley all added hits in the win.  The Chargers finished the season with an outstanding record of 16 wins and just 3 losses.  
 
Attention all track athletes. Uniform turn in and equipment clean-up will be Friday immediately after school. All athletes are expected to turn in your jersey, shorts, and rain coat as well as help clean up all equipment. 
 
The list of students that have qualified for Thursday's Do RIGHT Lunch is posted on the library and office windows. Formal invitations will be delivered soon. Any student who is not on the list but believes he/she has qualified should contact Mr. Goodwin.
 
Attention all Juniors- The senior t-shirts are $10 and must be paid by cash only to Olivia Wilson or Natalie Leimeister.  T-shirts will be passed out in the library before school on Thursday, June 2nd. No shirt will be ordered without payment in advance.  See Olivia or Natalie with any questions.  
 
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in being a part of the girls' tennis team next fall. The meeting will be today after school in Coach Meredith's room. If you cannot attend please see Coach Meredith or Coach Newt.
 
Any boys interested in playing on the high school golf team this fall that didn't make it to the meeting, please sign up in the athletic office.
 
For the Erie County Senior Donations, we are asking that people bring in their donations to the LIBRARY, not their homerooms! The drive starts today. Just a reminder that anyone who brings in even one item is eligible for the field day on May 27th! But remember, if you don’t, you won’t be allowed! So bring in your items!
