Morning Announcements for Thursday, May 12th

Today The Charger Cafe will serve mozzarella sticks with marinara or Daily Grab and Go, sweet peas, fresh veggies with hummus, assorted fruit and milk.

The weather for today is mostly sunny with a high of 74.  I wonder how long this enjoyable weather will last?

Our riddle for today is: What kind of apples do computers prefer?

Today is the last day to buy your books from the Book Fair.   It will be open from 8:30 am until 2:45 pm in the library.

As the weather gets warmer students are reminded of the following:

1.  Shoes or sandals with back straps must be worn at all times That means that NO flip-flops, slide shoes, or boots with cleats, or wheels are allowed.

2.  Shorts may be worn but must conform to the following guidelines:

          A. Any garment must extend below fingertip length with one’s arms resting at one’s side with fingers extended.

          B. Mini-skirts, of the modest variety, may be worn. Skirt length must comply with short length policy.

This information is printed in the Charger Student Handbook and should be followed.

Hey, 8th graders would you like to go to Washington DC next year?  Come and audition for the Edison Show Choir next Monday, May 16 and/or Tuesday, May 17. You just need to sign up for a 5-minute slot on Sign Up Genius.   All the information and links are on the blue Audition Show Choir flyer.  If you have any questions, you can contact Ms Notley at the high school.

The answer for today’s riddle is that computers prefer Macintosh apples.

We would like to close with this quote: “Please and Thank you are still magic words!  No matter how old you are.”
