Grace Anderson and Kellen McDonnell toed the line with the best in the State on Saturday for the State Championship in Fortress Obetz. Kellen passed 9 runners in the last mile of the race and finished 78th in the State!  Grace moved a few spots higher on the podium this year, finishing in 13th place, which earned her All-Ohio honors for the second straight year.  This caps off a great season for the Chargers, with a bright future for both teams.  Just a reminder that our banquet is on Wednesday at 6:30 in the Auditorium.

Day 4 of National French Week - as races go, most people are familiar with the Tour de France and the Monaco Grand Prix. Less well-known is the Paris-Dakar, today called simply the Dakar Rally, where each team must successfully get a stock car, motorcycle, and utility vehicle across the Sahara Desert to the city of Dakar. The race begins at the end of December and finishes mid January in Senegal.

For our final trivia question, which famous French dish can be served with dessert fillings or as a meal with ham, cheese, and mushrooms inside? Check back tomorrow for the answer!
