Attention all EHS students!
Are you interested in silly stringing a teacher?  Eating pumpkin pie as fast as you can?  Playing fun holiday-themed games? Or participating in a dodgeball tournament?  If so, Dodging Hunger is for you!  Dodging Hunger is a donation drive for our local Salvation Army. You can bring in cans, boxes, or containers of food or other household items to help people in our community this holiday season.  All students must bring in an item to get a ticket to attend the assembly next Tuesday!  If you would like to silly string a teacher, bring in items to be entered in a drawing for a teacher of your choice - the more items you donate the more tickets you earn, and the more likely you will get chosen to silly string a teacher.   You can sign up for the various minigames with Mrs. Seel by bringing a donated item to the library before school or in room 607 throughout the day and after school.  The games include bobble-head musical chairs, a pie-eating contest, turkey baster keepy-uppy, and turkey t-ball.

For the annual Dodgeball Tournament:  There will be 8 dodgeball teams of 6 people and each team member MUST bring in FIVE cans to participate (30 cans per team).  If you don’t have a team, don’t worry, there will be one open team filled with 6 individual players.   The winning team will get to go head-to-head against the staff's fierce team.  All sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-served basis - SO BRING YOUR DONATIONS IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  Donations and sign-ups will start Wednesday morning and go until Tuesday morning of next week - but remember sign ups are first come first serve.  Bring your items to the library before school or to Mrs. Seel's room (607) throughout the school day or after school.

Attention students and staff! Please remember to pick up your Why I Speak Up Bubble in order to support Nadia Cantelli and the Ohio Student Safety Council. You can pick up these bubbles in your study hall and in the library and return them to Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. Tinnel. They will be displayed in the hallway outside of Mrs. Davis’s room and submitted to the Council’s social media to show how great Edison’s students are! If you have any questions please contact Nadia Cantelli.

The Edison Drama Club will present Annie as their spring musical. This is your chance to remember that "The Sun with come out tomorrow" and be part of this heartwarming story about Little Orphan Annie. This is a large, complex musical with approximately a dozen featured roles each for men and women as well as a large chorus and extensive technical requirements. There is a place for everyone - let us adopt you into Drama Club! A pre-audition meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 29 from 3:00-3:20 for those students interested in auditioning or signing up for crew work. The meeting will provide the best opportunity to learn about the show and how to audition and apply for crew positions.
