Morning Announcements for Monday, November 21st

Today is Monday, November 21, 2022 and we have 2 days of school this week.

The Charger Café will serve, French toast with sausage OR Salad Bar OR Daily Grab & Go, Hash browns, vegetable juice, assorted fruit, and milk for lunch today.

The weather for today is windy and mostly sunny with a high of 46.

Today’s riddle is: April showers bring May flowers, so what do Mayflowers bring?

Power of the Pen has practice today, from 3-4:30 in Mrs. Hansen’s room.

Donations are being accepted for Project Happy. There are decorated boxes in the classrooms for you to put your donation in.  Let’s help to make a child happy during the holiday season.

Congratulations to the following Charger PRIDE winners for this week.  These students should report to Mr. Smith’s office at this time:

4th Grade - Liam Weaver and Colton Gray

5th Grade - Silas Simoneau and Taylor Ellis

6th Grade - Trenten Williams and Delino Watson

7th Grade - Joel Smith and Kayden Denney

8th Grade - Mazie Dobson and Lukas Schaeffer

We would also like to congratulate this week’s staff Charger PRIDE winners – Mr. Caskey and Mrs. Reinbolt! Thanks for all you do for us!

The answer for today’s riddle is that if April showers bring may flowers, then the Mayflower brought the pilgrims.

We would like to close with this quote from an American editor Margaret Cousins: “Appreciation can change a day, even change a life.  Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.”
