Happy Birthday Austin Peck and Travis Compton!
 
The Mock Trial team competed in the District Competition on Friday. Winning outstanding attorney was Brianna Marcy and winning outstanding witness was Madison Ballah. Nice job to all other team members involved with this year’s competition: Lilli Kreglow, Mary and Grace Anderson, George Rhodes, Rachel Frederick, Ingrid Berckmueller and Sara Gates. 
 
The Sources of Strength campaign for January is Positive Friends & Mentors. Stop and see Mrs. Wilson or a Peer Leader If you would like a polaroid picture taken with your Positive Friend or Mentor to display on the poster in the hallway. 
 
The Charger Wrestling Team had a successful weekend at the D3 Duals at St. Mary's High School.  Going undefeated on the weekend were Abe Hermes, Max Hermes, Duke Hermes, Marcus Medina, and Kohen Horvath.  Highlights of the weekend were Marcus Medina beating the #1 and #4 ranked wrestlers in the state.  Kohen Horvath downed the #3 ranked wrestler in the state.  Max Hermes became only the 24th wrestler in Ohio High School history to record 200 career wins.  Congratulations Max!   The Chargers will return to action next weekend at the Rossford and Margaretta Invites. 
 
The boys varsity basketball team lost Saturday night at the buzzer 62-60 against Firelands. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 20 points, Jack Brown added 17 points, and Luke Blatnik added 12 points. The boys return to action tonight against Clyde on the road.
