May - Kaylee Ries

       The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Kaylee Ries is the May Student of the Month at Edison High School.
   Kaylee has been chosen for her contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.  Kaylee’s school activities:  Marching band; wind ensemble; pep band; solo & ensemble; Ohio University 110% Award; Band Council President; French Club Vice President; French Honor Society President; Le Grand Concours silver, bronze and honorable mention recipient; National Honor Society President; Class President; Student Council; Math Club Vice President; math tutor; Lead2Hope; Edison Works representative; Buckeye Girls’ State delegate (State Board of Education); softball; tennis (1st Team SBC, holds school Doubles records for career, season, league wins and coach’s award); bowling; Student Athlete Leadership Team member; school musical (Big Fish & Honk!); Student of the Quarter (Physical Education and Science); honor roll; Erie County Democratic Party volunteer; and planned “It Takes a Village: Fighting the Opioid Crisis”. 
    Kaylee plans to attend the Bowling Green State University double majoring in Business and Psychology. Kaylee is the daughter of the late Jeff Ries and Carrie and Donald Knicely of Huron, Ohio.
