Morning Announcements - Thursday, April 15, 2021

Attention all seniors - stop by the library today so we can get your t-shirt size for edge day! 
 
At 4:15, tennis is at Port Clinton. At 4:45 today, Jv baseball will be at home with Margaretta 
And at 7:30, National Honor Society will have their induction ceremony. 
 
The varsity baseball team improved to 7-2 with a 2-0 win against Margaretta.  Thomas Simon pitched a complete game 1 hitter with 11 strikeouts.  Simon also led the team at the plate with a single, double, and 2 RBI's.  Luke Bissell, Xander Danner, and Bryce Michaelis all singled.
 
The week of April 26th we will be administering state end-of-course exams in algebra, geometry, biology, government and American history.. If you are required to take one of these exams you will be notified by your teacher of the date and location.  On your test days please be here no later than 7:45 am.  If you are not taking a test on any given day, you must be here by 9:45.  We will be following the Two-Hour Delay Schedule all week.  School transportation will be available but will run at the normal time.  The gym, cafeteria and library will be available for students waiting for the delayed start of school.
 
A reminder to all students: you were given a Golden Teacher nominee form in homeroom;  Please turn them in the basket in the library 
 
Due to overwhelming interest in Edison Show Choir's revue of Aladdin, they have added two more shows on Saturday, May 15 @ 7:00 and Sunday, May 16 @ 7:00. Ticketing is and is open to the public right now. Seating is limited and the tickets sell out quickly. Prom tickets are on sale now! Tickets are $20 each and will be on sale during your lunch period. A reminder that if you plan on bringing a non-Edison student/guest, pick up a form from Mr. Newton’s room - before purchasing your ticket.  Tickets will be sold until April 30. 
 
Attention students, faculty and staff: The Kiwanis Club of Berlin Heights is conducting a gently used or new shoe drive to benefit young entrepreneurs in 3rd world countries.  Lightly worn shoes, sandals, boots and sneakers can be dropped off in the collection box  in the front entrance at the school.  All shoes will be given to young women to start businesses to lift them out of poverty in the following countries: Honduras, Haiti, Mali, Togo, Indonesia and Poland. This is a tremendous world outreach to help others and teach them lessons in macro-economics. The shoe drive at EHS will last for the next three weeks!
 
Attention Football Players.... mulch orders are due by this Friday.  Please turn in all completed orders to Coach Hall.
