Girls Soccer vs. Mansfield St. Peter
The Edison Varsity Girls Soccer team opened their season with a hard fought win over visiting Mansfield St Peter with a score of 6 to 5. The scoring was lead by Aliyah Caporini and Piper Nickoli both with two goals each. Also scoring for the Lady Chargers with one goal each was Sophie Clark and Hanna Ceja. These goals came from two assist from Clark and one assist each from Caporini, Nickoli, and Holly Racioppi . All the scoring was lead by great team possession and ball movement. The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Thursday with a home game against Upper Sandusky at 5:30pm.
