Varsity/JV Girls Basketball vs. Western Reserve
The varsity girls basketball team utilized a stifling defense last night to defeat Western Reserve 45 to 34 and improved their record to 11 and 4. Aliyah Caporini and Alana Fidler paced the balanced attack with 12 points each, while Hannah Vitaz chipped in 8 points. Jessica Stoll hauled down 7 rebounds and Vitaz grabbed 6 to lead the assault on the boards.
The junior varsity girls basketball team dropped a close contest to Western Reserve last night 28 to 27. Danielle Blatnik led the way with 7 points, while Eliza Brickner, Lauren Neher, and Lilli Schuster contributed 4 points each.
The freshmen girls' basketball team hosts Lorain tonight at 5:30. Hope to see you courtside. The varsity and junior varsity girls basketball teams return to action Saturday at 1:00 when they host Huron. Hope to see you courtside.
