Morning Announcements - Wednesday, April 22, 2026

The EMS cafeteria will be serving popcorn or General TSO chicken, or Daily Grab & Go, brown rice, fortune cookie, fruit choice and milk for lunch today.

The weather report for today is sunny with a high of 72.

Today’s trivia question is: When was Earth Day celebrated in the United States for the first time?

What is Earth Day you ask? It is an event to increase public awareness of the world’s environmental problems.

Just a friendly reminder to the 7th grade class, that your money, tickets and unsold calendars are to be handed in tomorrow, April 23. You may give them to Mr. LaCivita or Mrs. Bishop who will be in the library until 8:00 am.

Today the 6th will be taking their ELA Test. Remember to do your best on your test!

Let’s all be considerate when moving in the hallways during testing today.

The trivia answer is that Earth Day was celebrated in the United State for the first time on April 22, 1970.
