Morning Announcements - Wednesday, April 29, 2026

The EMS cafeteria will be serving Manager’s Choice Entrée or Daily Grab & Go, glazed carrot coins, fruit choice and milk for lunch today.

The weather report for today is rainy and a high of 50.

Today’s trivia question is: What part does a butterfly use for tasting?

Attention 6th–8th graders! Want a chance to perform with the high school show choir? Join our Middle School Show Choir Workshop! You’ll learn your own songs and perform at the Spring Showcase on May 16, plus join the high school group for the big finale! Rehearsals are May 9, 14, and 15 in the evenings. Check your email to sign up using the link sent in Final Forms. The deadline to register is this Friday, May 1! Questions? Contact Mrs. Wheeler at the high school. Don’t miss your chance to join the spotlight! 

Listen up middle school musicians –
5th grade band will be combined today
6th grade band will be combined today and on Thursday
7/8 Band will combine on Thursday during second period.
The band concert is Thursday at 7 pm at the middle school. Band students are to arrive by 6.

The choir will rehearse on Friday from 3-4 pm. Please make sure that you are picked up on time.  The choir concert is Sunday at 4:30, students arrive by 4 in the high school band room. 

Let’s remember to be quiet in the hallways today due to testing. To those students who are testing today, just do your best.

Attention all Student Council Reps: The meeting on Friday, May 1 will be for just the 8th grade reps only.

The trivia answer is that butterflies have special sensors on their feet that let them taste whatever they land on.
