Morning Announcements - Wednesday, May 6, 2026

The EMS cafeteria will be serving oven baked chicken with a roll, or Daily Grab & Go, mashed potatoes & gravy, applesauce cup, and milk for lunch today.

The weather report for today is cloudy and cooler with a high of 56.

Today’s trivia question is: What is the number of eggs produced in a year in the USA?

We will now announce the winners of today’s Calendar Raffle. Today’s May 6 package A is a beauty basket. The winner is Lisa Warren. This ticket was sold by Londyn Warren. Today’s May 6 package B is a Mary Kay Basket. The winner of this prize is Tammy Poff and the ticket was sold by Joseph Soviak.

In the Music World this week-
There is a 4th grade concert this Thursday, May 7 at 7 pm. Students with speaking parts come at 6 pm for a sound check and everyone else may arrive by 6:30 pm. 4th grade will have dress rehearsals during specials today and on Thursday.  4th graders should bring their recorders to music class after the concert.

On Thursday, any student council reps who would like to stay after school to help with a decorating project from 3-4 should meet Mrs. Bishop downstairs in our room.

Volleyball open gym is cancelled for today. It will resume next Wednesday, May 13 as scheduled.

The trivia answer is that there are 6.6 billion dozen of eggs produced in the USA in a year.
