October Student of the Month

The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Ilah Reynolds as the October Student of the Month at Edison High School.

     

Ilah has been chosen for her contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.  Ilah’s activities:  Drama (Drama Council Secretary, International Thespian Society, head of publicity crew); Choir (Choir Council President, show choir dance captain); Firelands Challenge member/team captain); Key Club member/president; Interact Club; JustWrite writing club state qualifier, 4^th place regional medal winner, and part of the #1 overall team at state last year); French Club (historian, secretary and tri-president); National French Honor Society; earned the Seal of Biliteracy in French; Mock Trial; soccer (received Bolt Award and also 2023 sectional championship team member); tennis; Speech & Debate (historian, secretary, president, state / national qualifier – 10^th in nation); National Honor Society; Teen Leadership Corps; Buckeye Girls State delegate (elected Governor’s Senior Policy Advisor and speech writer); attended Yale Young Global Scholar program under the literature, philosophy and culture track; girl scouts (working on Gold Award); employed at Baker on the Square; Milan Melon Festival 2^nd attendant 2024 and queen 2025; homecoming queen 2025 and current CCP student set to graduate with an associates degree.

 

Ilah plans to attend Yale University in the fall to double major in film production and French language and eventually be a director in Europe where her films will be showcased at the Cannes Festival.   Ilah is the daughter of Greg & Sarah Reynolds of Milan, Ohio.
