Morning Announcements for Thursday, January 16th

Boys varsity basketball looked to gain another win Tuesday night in a nonconference game against the Firelands Falcons.  It was a close contest all game but the Chargers came up short losing 66-60.  Cole Leimiester led the Chargers with 18 points and 6 rebounds, Luke Whiley had 12, Coltyn Meagrow had 11, and Grayson Smith with 8 points and 5 rebounds.  The Chargers take on the Margaretta Polar Bears at home on Thursday.  JV tip at 6 pm.  Go Chargers!

Morning Announcements for Wednesday, January 15th

Well, next Tuesday, January 21st, head over to Jim’s Pizza Box in Milan for a delicious meal and help support the sophomore class! 10% of all proceeds will go towards funding sophomore class activities and events. Morning Announcements for Tuesday, January 14th

Congratulations to the Firelands Challenge team which beat out Huron and Port Clinton on Monday to earn the final spot in the Firelands Challenge Championship series. The team earned 47 points to Port Clinton's 34 and Huron's 25.   The team will host the first of three Championship matches next Tuesday here at Edison High School during a morning assembly. We ask that all students and staff wear black next Tuesday for a Blackout to support the team and to match our suits.

This year for the Show Choir's Musical Review we are doing, Teen Beach Movie!! Do you want to try something new? Like to dance and/or sing? Morning Announcements for Thursday, January 9th

The Edison girls varsity team traveled to Crestview last night and picked up their 7th win of the season.  Ivy Kluding led the team with 12 points followed by Stella Brown who finished with 11 and added 3 steals.  Jorja Byington chipped in 6 points and Ella Booth had 5 with 8 rebounds.  Taylor Moore had a big defensive night, tallying 8 steals.  The team’s next game is on Saturday where they will host Margaretta.  Good luck girls!

Morning Announcements for Tuesday, January 7th

The Edison Chargers swim team traveled to Port Clinton High School on January 4th to compete against Tiffin, Vermilion, and Port Clinton.  Corbin Thayer placed 5th in the 200-yard Free and 3rd in the 100-yard Breaststroke, Logan Trizna was 4th in the 500-yard Freestyle and 4th in his 100-yard Backstroke, Jacoby Valimont had a 1st place 100-yard Butterfly and 2nd place in his 200-yard IM and Jack Woodward had 3rd place finishes in the 50 and 100-yard Freestyle. The Chargers Medley Relay placed 5th and the 400 Freestyle Relay placed 2nd.  Saturday, January 11th in the Chargers Conference meet at Perkins High School. Go Chargers!
