Morning Announcements for Monday, October 21st

The cross country teams ran well at the District Championships on Saturday at Galion, with both teams qualifying for the Regional Meet. Grace Anderson, Kellen McDonnell, and Jackson Michaelis led the way as Individual Qualifiers. Zoey Corfman, Everett Gfell, and Logan Facemire all ran their best times. The Regional Championships take place at Tiffin on Saturday with a State Berth on their minds.

If you did not get your picture taken on the original picture day you MUST get your picture taken even if you are not purchasing a picture packet - this includes seniors. October Student of the Month

The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Everett Gfell is the October Student of the Month at Edison High School.

Everett has been chosen for his contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities. Everett’s activities: Cross country; track; swim (earned eight varsity letters between all three sports); Interact Club; Key Club; Speech & Debate; Teen Leadership Corps; National Honor Society; American Legion Buckeye Boys State delegate; Impact Leadership Training leader. Everett is a Boy Scout and has also earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Everett plans to attend college in the fall to pursue a master's degree in civil engineering. Everett is the son of Jamie and Brooke Gfell of Norwalk, Ohio.
