Morning Announcements for Tuesday, April 29th

Happy Birthday Kourtney Balde and Colin Butler


The Lady Chargers won 17-3 last night vs Margaretta.  Peyton Taylor and Ivy Kluding each had 3 hits.  Stella Brown, Peyton Bissell, and Macari Harris added 2 hits apiece.  Taylor added 4 RBI, and Abby Cloud added 3.  Abby Cloud picked up the win, going 5 innings, striking out 7.    The JV team also had a big win last night, 13-3 over Margaretta.  Ella Rogers had 1 hit, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored.  Nevea Yamanouchi, Scarlett Bennett, Mabel Stoll, Gracie Rang, Lariah McMinn, and Adison Wechter all added a hit apiece.  Jordyn Perry picked up the win, going 3 innings, striking out 3.


The tennis team played a tough match but fell to Calvert 1-4. Winning at no. 1 singles was Adin Colbert. The team plays again Wednesday in the park against Bellevue. 


Last night, the JV tennis team got a dominant win over Calvert from the doubles team of Mary Moon with Jace Pinkston. Keep it up


April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Texting and Driving is actually banned in 46 states, and if caught, they will receive a heavy fine. This is a reminder to stay off your phone and drive safe.


Attention Writing Club members: we are meeting in room 201 during Charger Period on Wednesday to discuss the details for the upcoming state tournament. If you are unable to attend, please see Mr. Ceccoli


Prom tickets will be sold on Wednesday, April 23rd, through Friday, May 2nd, during lunches or before and after school in the main office. Tickets are $40.00. If you need a guest form, they are located outside the main office. 


Interact Club has set up volunteer opportunities with Back to the Wild in Castalia, OH. We will be volunteering on May 3rd and 4th. Anyone, whether you are a part of Interact club or not, who would like to participate can sign up by scanning the QR code posted on the flyer located on the Interact Club bulletin board. If you have any questions, contact Ezri Rutger or Mrs. Roan. 


EHS is hosting a clothes drive for students and staff the week of the 28th-May 2nd. Bring the clothes to your homeroom and place them in the designated bins. If you do not have a homeroom you can put your items in the bin in the office. The homeroom who has the most clothes donated by Friday, the 2nd, will receive donuts in the morning on the following Monday. If you have any questions, please contact Ezri Rutger or Becca Houser. 


It’s prom week, so get into the Hollywood spirit! Dress your best for Black Tie day on Wednesday, say aloha for Lilo and Stitch Day Thursday, and roll out the red carpet wearing black and red on Friday.
