Morning Announcements - Monday, December 4, 2023

The Charger Café will serve a Charger cheeseburger or Daily Grab or Salad Bar, Burger Toppings Bar, waffle fries, fruit choice, Charger cookie and milk for lunch.

The weather for today is mostly cloudy with a high of 44. Today’s trivia question is: How many times do you blink in a year?

Donations are now being accepted for Project Happy. December 15 is the last day to bring them in. Acceptable donations are small toys, art supplies, treats, personal care items, hats and gloves. Our goal is to reach 200 boxes.

The 4th grade boys “Orange” basketball team beat Port Clinton 19-14. Scoring for the orange team was Naylen Watson with 10 pts, Clay Kamm with 5 pts, Angelo Shelton & Levi Wells each contributed 2 pts.

Congratulations to Lani Tessaro who placed 6th at the Olmsted Falls Tournament on Saturday.  Madison Moon placed 7th overall in Congressional Debate.  Mr. Amstutz will meet will middle school debaters today after school in the library conference room. If you plan to compete this Saturday at the vermilion Tournament, you should attend this meeting.  There will NOT be a middle school speech competition this weekend, just congressional debate.

Today December 4 the winter athletes will be getting their pictures taken for the yearbook.
Here is the time table:
8th grade girls basketball team at 2:10
7th grade girls basketball team at 2:20
7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball at 3:00
and 7th & 8th grade basketball cheerleaders at 3:15.
If you are purchasing your pictures, bring your envelope with you to the gym.

The answer for the today’s trivia is that you blink over 4 million times in a year.
