October Student of the Month


The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Nadia Cantelli is the October Student of the Month at Edison High School. Nadia has been chosen for her contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities.  Nadia’s activities:  Firelands Challenge Co-Captain (participated in Toledo 24 and Channel 5 Academic Challenge competitions); Student Council (various positions over four years-Secretary, Vice-President and President); National Honor Society; Interact Club Co-President; Sources of Strength; Key Club; Edison Just Write team member (state qualifier and founding member); Lead2Hope; Edison Publications photographer and editor; Camp Invention Intern of the Day; received a varsity letter and pin in academics; received 2 nd and 3 rd place in Edison’s talent show; sophomore winter dance representative; honor roll and perfect attendance; taking honors and college credit plus classes earning her graduation seals and is working towards her honors diploma. Nadia is also associated with the Ohio Student Safety Council member (the Governor had the head of the Department of Safety follow up to get her Capstone Project implanted in school). As a guitarist, singer, percussionist, and songwriter, Nadia would like to pursue a career as a recording artist and touring musician. Her goal is to have a social media platform to promote the well-being of others through actions and music. Nadia is the daughter of Paula Kerper and Tim Cantelli of Milan, Ohio.
