Morning Announcements for Thursday, May 5th

Happy Cinco de Mayo! 


Today The Charger Cafe will serve enchiladas or Daily Grab and Go, Spanish rice, seasoned corn, black bean salsa with chips, fire roasted Fuji apples, a churro, and milk.


The weather for today is periods of rain; breezy in the afternoon with clouds and high of 54.  


Our riddle for today is: What runs but never gets tired?


Any student who will be in fifth through eighth grade next year is invited to participate in band! Anyone is welcome and encouraged to participate! We are especially in need of people to play the following instruments; trumpet, French Horn, trombone, baritone, and tuba. Please see Mrs. Rosekelly to sign up.


Attention 4th & 5th grade students: If you are interested in playing the drums in band, auditions will be held tomorrow, May 6th during specials. You must turn in a signed permission slip to participate in the band before auditions. 


The 4th Grade Spring Music Concert will take place tonight, May 5th at 7 pm. Students are expected to arrive by 6 pm for a pre-concert rehearsal and sound check. 


Power of the pen has practice today from 3-4 in Mrs. Hansen’s room.  


There will be no choir practice today May 5th. 


There will be an informational meeting for any 7th graders interested in trying out for EMS Cheer for the 2022-2023 school year.  The meeting is in Mrs. Bissell's room during your lunch period today, Thursday, May 5th 


In honor of staff appreciation week, today and tomorrow during lunch periods students may fill out a card for a staff member. Mrs. Bishop and the student council reps will be there to assist you.  


The answer for today’s riddle is that a faucet runs but never gets tired.
