Varsity/JV Softball vs. Port Clinton

The Lady Chargers defeated Port Clinton 6-1 yesterday. Lindsey Fortuna drove in 3 runs while going 3-4 with a double. Morgan Scott added a couple of base hits with Deana Blatnik, Kira Appeman, Grace Houser and Hannah Vitaz all had a hit as well. Fortuna earned the victory in the circle for Edison Chargers Varsity. She surrendered one run on four hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Sydney Johnson and Olivia Vitaz collected four hits in four at bats, as Edison Chargers JV defeated Port Clinton 29-1 on Monday. The Lady Chargers notched 14 runs in the second inning. Danielle Blatnik, Leigh Anne Lambert, Lindsey Kowalski, Mallory Perkins, Halina Krul, and Madison Chaput all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Lindsay Roberts was the winning pitcher for Edison. Vitaz, Johnson, Kowalski, Perkins, Roberts, Blatnik, Krul, Lambert, and Chaput all had multiple hits for the Chargers.
