Happy Birthday to Justice Daniels and Devin Hamlin!

Tonight at 7:00 varsity football is home with Norwalk, before the game, we will be honoring our senior parents. On Saturday morning at 11, JV football will be at Norwalk,  and at 6:00 Saturday night, the cross country teams will be at Centerville for the Saturday Night Lights meet!

Last night on Thunderbird South the girls golf team secured another win to bring their record to 12-1. Edison 171 - Bellevue 180. Jordan Pruitt led the way with a 39, Lauren Neher finished strong with back-to-back birdies for a 41, Hunter Barylski set a new personal record of 42, and Freshman Ava Grant chipped in a 49.  The girls will be heading to Valley View Tuesday Sept 24 for sectional play.  Keep Believing and Recharging!!! Good Luck Ladies!!!

The girls tennis team had a great day at the SBC Tournament on Thursday. Winning the championship at no. 1 Singles and named the outstanding performer of the tournament was Jayla Medina. Also winning the championship at no. 1 doubles and handing Willard their first loss of the season was the team of Kaylee Ries/Torri Keyser. Finishing as runner-up was Emily Vogus at no. 2 singles and Alli Vogus at no. 3. Finishing 3rd was the doubles team of Emily Moore/Lindsey Kowalski. Great Job Ladies!!!
 
The varsity volleyball team lost a 4 set match to Oak Harbor 22-25, 25-22, 23-25, 16-25.  Lilli Schuster slammed 14 kills, Reagan King dished out 16 assists, Olivia Vitaz had 9 kills, 14 assists, and 10 digs, Natalie Lambert had 25 digs, and Kira Appeman chipped in 12 kills.

The lunch ladies would like to remind all students that it is their responsibility to know how much is in their lunch account.  Please do not ignore them or nasty look at them when they are trying to help you out and just doing their job! You must have money in your account!

There will be a meeting Thursday September 26th after school  at 3:10 in the library to discuss ideas for planning the Veterans Assembly this November and The 2020 Veterans Project. Mrs. Bock, Mrs. Seel, and Mr. Collins would like to invite students interested in participating to help honor our veterans. 

The athletic office has presale tickets for sale for the home varsity football game on Friday night Vs. Norwalk.  All presale tickets are $5 while all tickets at the gate are $6.  

Any student interested in joining Key Club are reminded to pay your $10 dues to the office now.

Book Club will meet Monday, September 30th after school in Room 203 to decide on our first read.  Everyone is welcome!  Please bring book suggestions you'd like the club to consider this year. Snacks will be provided!  Look forward to seeing you all there!  Happy reading!!

Anyone interested in participating in Play in a Hurry there will be a short informational meeting after school on Monday September 23. We would love to have anyone with any type of experience! We need actors, ushers, light crew, stage managers, and so much more!

Homecoming is right around the corner EHS! If you are bringing a guest from another school please get an Emergency Medical Form from Mrs. Davis or the Office.  You must have this form on file by Friday, October 11th in order to bring your guest to the dance Saturday evening.

Thank you to all the students who auditioned or interviewed for a crew position for Radium Girls.  A cast and crew list will be posted by the end of the day.  The first rehearsal is Monday 6:30 -  9:00 for all cast and crew members.

All Junior and Senior girls interested in playing Powder Puff football, please plan on attending a 5 minute meeting in room 204 after school Tuesday September 24th.  

Any girls grades 9 through 12 who would like to play basketball this winter should sign up in the athletic office today. 

This is a reminder to all student drivers that your car must be registered each year.  You must have a current parking tag hanging from your rear view mirror.  Please complete the appropriate form and purchase your parking tag from the office for $1.00.  The parking lots will be checked starting this week.

Start Homecoming week with a blast of color! Edison Teen Leadership class is hosting the 1.5 mile color run to kick off Homecoming! Jog, walk, run, or skip with you friends around Edison High school while going through color stations! It’s half the run but twice the fun! The color run will begin at 6pm on October 6th! Thank you to the student body’s ongoing support for the Teen leadership program! 

Anyone interested in being on the bowling teams this year should stop into the athletic office and sign up this week.  There will be a very short informational meeting in the auditorium today at 2:50 pm for anyone interested.
