The Berlin Heights Kiwanis are pleased to announce Brienna Marcy is the January Student of the Month at Edison High School.
Brienna has been chosen for her contributions to Edison High School and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities. Brienna’s activities: HOBY representative; Teen Leadership Corps; Buckeye Girls’ State; Student Council; Firelands Challenge team member (assisted in Edison’s 10th title win); Mock Trial (named Outstanding Attorney); debate team (all 4 years and competed at the state level during sophomore and junior years); varsity soccer (goalkeeper for 3 years, awarded SBC honorable mention and 3rd team in district); scored a 33 on the ACT test; lead ballerina at Cynthia Kniffin Dance Academy.
Brienna plans to attend college majoring in criminology and sociology with the goal to work as a researcher at a university. Brienna is the daughter of Shawn and Alice of Norwalk, Ohio.
