Choir has after practice today right after school.

Don’t forget to place your order for carnations in the gym before school starts.   This Friday, February 7 is the last day to do so. The cost is only $1 per carnation and they will be delivered by the student council reps. on Valentine’s Day.  You may send them to any staff member or any student in grades 6th, 7th or 8th.  If you have any questions, just ask your student council reps. or Mrs. Bishop.

Attention all 7th Graders: On Wednesday, February 12 at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria there will be an 7th grade parent informational meeting about the Washington, D.C. trip scheduled in the fall. Please send an adult to this meeting to receive the necessary information.

The answer for today’s joke is that the approximate date of the first Valentine ever sent was 1415.

We would like to close with this quote from Lenny Bruce, a comedian: “There are never enough I Love Yous.”
