Happy Birthday to Natalie Lambert and Dalton Rahrig!

At 4:00 today, boys & girls bowling will be at home with St. Joe. At 5:00, freshmen, JV & varsity boys basketball is at home with Margaretta.  At 6:00, girls freshman basketball is at Monroeville for their game.

The freshmen girls' basketball team went to the "Purple Pit" last night and came away with a 31 to 26 victory over Fremont Ross. Eliza Brickner, Madison Chaput, and Lydia Woodyard all scored 7 points each, while Lindsay Roberts chipped in 6 points. Lindsay Sneider and Olivia Vitaz rounded out the scoring with 2 points each. The team is right back in action tonight when they travel to Monroeville for a 6:00 tip. Hope to see you courtside.

All 4 Bowling teams took on Willard last night.  Edison boys took a huge win with Cole Manning leading the charge with a 193 and a 250.  Both JV teams took close loses.  For the girls Emma Keefe led the way with a 191 and a 159  For the boys Cullin Wilbur had a 154 and a 167.  Great job to all teams.

There will be a meeting for all students that qualified for response 3rd quarter in the library today after morning announcements.

Congratulations to the Firelands Challenge academic team members on last week's awesome victory over Perkins and Western Reserve.  The Firelands Challenge team will have practice today at 2:50 in Mrs. Wallrabenstein's room.

Congratulations to the policy debate team of Lexi Weyer and Jamie Anderson who placed 2nd at Berea-Midpark and qualified for the State Tournament! Speech and Debaters, be sure to sign up for future tournaments. The bus for Brecksville leaves at 6:15 sharp on Saturday. Miss Baughman will be here after school for practices today.

TLC will be hosting a spaghetti dinner to support Anne Meredith and her fight with cancer from 4:30-6:30 before the freshmen basketball game vs. Bellevue on Jan 25th.  There will also be a bake sale and a basket raffle during the game that evening.  Please plan to come out and support Mrs. Meredith in any way you can on Friday the 25th.  

ACT Boot Camp is happening once again!  Registration is limited to the first 30 junior and senior paid applicants.  Complete the registration form no later than February 6, pay with cash or check in the main office! Registration forms can be obtained from the library or from Mrs. Brown! Register now as class fills up fast! Questions?  See Mrs. Brown! 

Senior photos for this year's yearbook are due by February 22.  Though a digital photo file is preferred, you can also drop off a wallet sized print photo.  Senior quotes are also due by the 22nd.

There will be an important informational meeting today after school for all students interested in auditioning or doing crew work for Big Fish, Edison's spring musical.

Those students taking the national Spanish exam must pay the $8 fee by Friday January 18 to Profesora.  Any questions see Profa!

The Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics contest will be on Saturday, Feb. 23 at Perkins High School. Anyone interested in taking the test must pay the $5.00 registration fee to Mrs. Wallrabenstein by Wednesday, Feb. 6. Information sheets are available from Mrs. Wally or your math teacher.

There will be a short informational meeting today at 3 in the auditorium for all students interested in auditioning or doing crew work for Big Fish, our spring musical. This is the best opportunity to learn about the show and how you can get involved. Auditions and crew interviews will be this week Thursday and Friday.
