Morning Announcements - Tuesday, March 27, 2024

The Charger Café will serve mozzarella cheese sticks with sauce, or Daily Grab & Go Option, carrot coins, pretzel twists, fruit choice and milk for lunch.

The weather for today is rainy, windy and cooler with a high of 55.

Today’s trivia question is: Which country is home to the largest tulip festival in the world?

Here are the results of the Penny Wars as of last night’s counting. It was very cloudy for the 6th grade who had a negative $70.69 putting them in 3rd place. As the clouds started to move out, it put the 8th graders with a negative $29.93 in 2nd place. And the sun was shining all the time for the 7th grade with a negative $18.18 for staying in 1st place. I know that the 7th grade class won last year as 6th graders. The 6th graders probably have a plan, just don’t know what it is. And the 8 th graders are looking for more pennies. Don’t forget that tomorrow is the last day to make your donations.

Congratulations to the following Charger PRIDE winners for this week.  These students should report to Mr. Smith’s office at this time:
4th Grade - Trevor Key and Colton Petznick
5th Grade - Paisley Funni and Tyler Behnke
6th Grade - Katie O'Hara and Beckett Freeman
7th Grade - Natalie Schock and Bentley Illuzzi
8th Grade - Whitley Rockwell and Josh Felter
We would also like to congratulate this week’s staff Charger PRIDE winners - Mrs. Esser and Mr. Caskey!  Thanks for all you do for us.

The answer for the today's trivia question is that Netherlands is home to the largest tulip festival in the world.

We would like to close with this quote from Bob Hope: “Be happy with what you have while working for what you want.”
