Morning Announcements - Monday, February 3, 2020

Today at 4:00, boys & girls bowling are home with Clyde. At 4:30, freshmen boys basketball is at Clyde.

Congratulations to the Firelands Challenge Academic team for their stunning victory over Huron and Willard in the second championship round. Edison earned 63 points with an additional 6 points possible through appeals to Willard's 39 points and Huron's 22 points.  Cumulative scores before appeals are:  Edison with 115 points, Willard with 72 points and Huron with 64 points. The 3rd and final championship match will be here at Edison on Wednesday--IT IS A BLACK OUT!!  The team members would like to thank the BEST student body and staff for the fantastic support of the team!

The Charger Wrestling team ran their record to 26-0 by defeating Dover 83-0 and Medina Highland 39-25 on Saturday at Edison High School. Going 2-0 on the day were Max Hermes, Jared Fantauzzi, Hunter Vogus, Casey Barnett, Jakey Neer, Shad Slone, Jacob Thompson, and Cason Holmes.  The Chargers will be back in action this Saturday at Oak Harbor High School for the Regional Dual Finals.

The Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics contest will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22. Any student wishing to get up early on a Saturday morning to take an awesome math test should sign up in Mrs. Wallrabenstein's room.  Donuts will be provided!!!

We are in need of 8 more students to sign up for ACT boot camp.   We are extending the signup until noon today. Juniors, make sure you are prepared for the March 10th test date! Any questions see Ms Spademan!

Set, Light, and Sound crew for HONK! We will work today after school from 3 to 5 and Wednesday Feb 5 in the evening from 6:30 to 8:30.  Please check the callboard for updates and additional work times weekly.

History Club Members: Please get dates to Mrs. Davis regarding your ability to visit Edison's Birthplace and attend the movie night no later than Wednesday.
