Morning Announcements - Friday, October 16, 2020

 
Happy Birthday to Jillian Johnson, Gideon Kellenbarger, Duke Hermes, Darin Harris & Cali Crecelius! 
 
This morning at 10:00, Jayla, Torri & Alli will be participating in district tennis at Port Clinton - good luck ladies. On Saturday morning the cross country teams are participating in the SBC meet at Hedges Boyer Park in Tiffin. On Saturday night at 7:00 - varsity football will travel to Keystone for the 2nd round of playoffs. 
 
The varsity volleyball team beat Oak Harbor 25-16, 25-14, 25-18 to wrap up a 2nd place finish in the SBC.  Olivia Vitaz dished out 38 assists and had 5 blocks.  Kira Appeman slammed 12 kills, followed by Lilli Schuster and Lydia Woodyard with 7 kills. Lindsay Roberts had 5 kills and 5 blocks, while Deana Blatnik had 4 kills and 2 blocks.  Kayla Mancuso led the defense with 17 digs, Danielle Blatnik served 14 points with 2 aces, and Jamie Teed had 2 digs. The JV Volleyball team beat Oak Harbor in 3 sets.  Olivia Wilson had 7 kills and Ella Habeck had 5 kills.
 
Senior members of National Honor Society - Don't forget that your senior dues need to be paid in the main office by next Friday, Oct 23. Please pick up a form from Mrs. Facemire before you pay.
 
GREAT NEWS!!! Snow Trails in Mansfield Ohio will be opening up this season when the weather permits. Edison student's, friend's, and family members will once again have the opportunity to purchase season tickets at a reduced price.  Anyone interested in skiing or snowboarding and would like more information on this year's rates for season passes should see coach Shelley.
 
Drama Club - Set construction, Light, and Sound crew will work after school next Wednesday from 3 - 4, and next Thursday in the evening from 7 - 8:30.  Please check the call board for information and email Mrs. Facemire if you have any questions or can not attend.
 
Speech & Debate Club Members: Miss Baughman is available for speech practices after school every day this week. The first tournament is less than 3 weeks away, so be sure to sign up for practices!
