Fun Fact of the day....A baby octopus is about the size of a flea when it is born. You would think this would make them hard to spot, however since eggs are laid by the tens of thousands, it would be hard to miss a massive cluster of pea-sized octopuses!
 
Tonight at 5:30, wrestling will be at home with Wadsworth, Lake & Highland.
 
The Charger boys bowlers got out to a great start after the holiday break beating Lakota Monday night. Leading the way was Cole Manning with a 466 series and a nice 261 game and Kameron McDonald with a 436 series.  The Lady Charger bowlers fell to Lakota by a slim margin. Leading the girls was Grace Brown with a 274 series and right behind with 271 was Natalie Costello.  Chargers boy bowlers had another nice night taking down Port Clinton Tuesday by over 200 pins. Leading the way for the Chargers was Cole Manning with 408 and Kameron McDonald with a 366 series. Charger girls again bowling shorthanded fell to the Redskins tonight. Leading the way with a 279 series was Natalie Costello and 258 for Grace Brown. On to the SBC Tournament at Rebman Lanes this coming Saturday.
 
A reminder to seniors in the class of 2021 - your senior pictures are due to Mrs. Roan by the end of the month. Any questions you can email her or stop in room 101! 
 
All Senior and Potential members of National Honor Society - your service hours are due to Mrs. Facemire by 3 pm on Thursday January 14th.  No late hours will be accepted.  Please see Mrs. Facemire with questions.
 
Chess Club will be meeting in Mr. Newton's room after school today. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join at any time, PLEASE - join us this week!
 
Speech & Debate Club members, Miss Baughman will be available for practices after school today. If you are competing in a live event this weekend in the Brecksville tournament, be here by 8:00 AM on Saturday with all your materials and ready to compete. 
 
A reminder to any student who is struggling in math - or may need some extra help with your homework, Math lab is open every day 5th, 6th and 7th period. Bring your lunch with you to room 401 for help! Any questions, please contact Mrs. Facemire. 
 
Attention all track athletes not in a winter sport. Off season conditioning has started. We will be working out every Monday and Thursday in the weight room at 3pm as well as Wednesday's in the field house. If you have any questions see Coach Shelley.
