Morning Announcements for Friday, February 19th

The lunch menu for today is baked rotini with meat sauce or fish filet sandwich or daily grab & go, romaine salad with chickpeas and dressing, fresh fruit, blueberry vanilla snack bites and milk.

 

The weather report for today is cloudy and very cold with a high of 24. 


Today’s trivia question is: What is the longest side of a right triangle called?  


Orders for the  Edison Middle School 2020-21 Yearbook are taking place now. The cost is only $17.  The deadline has been extended through Wednesday, February 24 for you to bring in your envelopes.  After that date you will have to order online. Extra envelopes are in the main office or see Mrs. Bishop.     

 

The sixth and seventh grade bands will have full band rehearsals today.  The sixth grade band will meet in the library and the seventh grade band will meet in the gym.  

 

Attention 6th and 7th grade girls:   Please check your school email for a quick survey from Mrs. Fisher regarding cheer tryouts for Football and Basketball for the 2021-2022 seasons.  If you are interested in Cheer for next year complete the Google Form and submit it to Mrs. Fisher no later than March 19th.  Tryouts will be held the last week of March.  More information will come closer to the date of tryouts.

 

The seventh and eighth grade basketball players are reminded to hand in their clean uniforms to Mrs. Vajda by Monday, February 22.

 

The yearbook committee is creating a 2 page sports collage and needs pictures from the 8th grade volleyball players and the middle school wrestlers.  Check out your photos and send them to Mrs. Bishop’s email.  rbishop@edisonchargers.org  The deadline for submitting pictures is this Monday, February 22.
