Morning Announcement for Tuesday, January 8

Today’s Trivia Question: What are the two birth flowers for the month of January? 

The lunch menu for today is mozzarella sticks with sauce and a yogurt squeeze,  salad bar or chef’s choice sandwich, green beans, fresh veggies, assorted fruit, and milk. Domino’s Pizza will be served tomorrow in the cafeteria for lunch. Don’t forget to buy your lunch and enjoy.

The 7th & 8th grade basketball teams play Oak Harbor today. The girls travel while the boys are here. All tickets are $3.

There is no Power of the Pen meeting today.  The next one is scheduled for Thursday in Mrs. Hansen’s room.  

Today during lunch periods Mrs. Bishop will be selling #Annestrong wristbands for only $2.  This is a fundraiser for Mrs. Meredith who is battling cancer.  

Choir practice starts today after school until 3:45.  Anyone who is not in choir and wished to join should see Ms. Hartley.  

This Friday, January 11 student council is hosting a Fun Night for only EMS students in grades 6-8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission is only $2. School rules and the dress code will be enforced.  No electronic devices of any kind are permitted at this event.There will be 3 different activities every half hour in the gym, on the stage and in the cafeteria.  For example, at 6:30 you could play basketball, Cup Command or participate in the Hula Hoop contest.  Fliers will be handed out during lunch on Wednesday. More info will be shared again tomorrow.
