7th Graders Share Some History

Read more...A few weeks ago the Language Arts students from Mrs. Pajak’s class presented their biographical sketches to the Berlin Heights Historical Society. The Curator Amy Hunter and her historical helpers chose 8 students to share their work to the members and parents at the January meeting. This culminating activity was a result of a month long project where the students from both Mrs. Pajak’s and Mrs. Yingling’s Language Arts classes researched local people of interest and past accomplishments. Students experienced the history of Berlin Heights and Milan through firsthand accounts of citizens and primary sources for the research of interesting facts.
