The Lady Chargers put forth a much improved effort in the second half of their opening match defeat to Elyria (L 5-1). Edison held the Lady Pioneers to just one goal in the second half, and they notched a goal of their own as Kailyn Dickman headed home a great cross from Juliana Johnson 11 minutes into the second half. The defensive effort was strong in the last 40 minutes and Natalie Mees did a great job in goal with 19 saves. Edison will look to improve on their second half effort next week when they return to action on Tuesday August 25th for their first home match vs Open Door.
