The Lady Chargers put forth a much-improved effort in the second half of their opening match defeat to Elyria (L 5-1). Edison held the Lady Pioneers to just one goal in the second half, and they notched a goal of their own as Kailyn Dickman headed home a great cross from Juliana Johnson 11 minutes into the second half. The defensive effort was strong in the last 40 minutes, and Natalie Mees did a great job in goal with 19 saves. Edison will look to improve on their second-half effort next week when they return to action on Tuesday August 25th for their first home match vs Open Door.
