It was a day for personal records for the Cross Country teams at the Lakota Invitational over the weekend, with 18 of our athletes running their fastest times. The Girls team brought home the Team Championship. Claire Michaelis took second overall while breaking into the 19's for the first time. Addison McDonnell was 3rd, Penny Stoll was 5th, and Madison Moon rounded out the hardware finishing in 16th place. The Boys team finished in 3rd place, led by Mason Leber's 7th place finish. The pack of Liam Chase, Trey Hines & Caleb Jeremay finished 17th-19th place to come home with hardware. Both teams are back in action on Saturday at the Norwalk Invitational.

Wednesday: Jersey/Teams Day (Powder Puff Shirts/School Jerseys/Team Jerseys)
Thursday: Character Day (Disney/Cartoon Characters)
Friday: Charger Spirit (All of the orange and blue you own!!)
*All spirit wear must be school-appropriate! No hats or masks are allowed!*
An Army representative will be in during Charger period on Wednesday. If you want to learn more about the ASVAB, college tuition assistance, or anything military-related, I encourage you to sign up and speak with Staff Sergeant Byrd.
Students are reminded to return library books within 2 weeks of borrowing them. Please return the borrowed books to the teacher who monitors your study hall or the main office. Thank you.
