Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Perkins

The Charger bowling teams took on Perkins in our last match of the year. The boys fell to this year’s Lake division Champs. Pacing the boys was Wyatt Ball with 412 and a very impressive clean series and Hayden Lewis with 327. Charger ladies also fell to a very good Perkins team. Leading the Charger girls was Addyson Puraty with 319 and Lydia McQuillen with a 301.

Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Vermilion

Charger boys bowling teams took on a shorthanded Vermilion team winning by default!
Boys bowled well with Hayden Lewis leading the team with a nice 392 and close behind Wyatt Ball with 381.  Charger ladies started out slow and eventually fell to a very good ladies team.
Leading the girls was Rory Conrad with 317 and Addyson Puraty with 295.

Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Willard; JV Boys vs. Willard

The Charger bowling teams went up against a very good Willard team and held our own but the boys and girls eventually lost in fairly close matches!  Leading the girls was Addyson Puraty with 326 and Lydia Mcquillen with 316!  Leading the way for the Boys was Hayden Lewis with 427 and Ayden Houser with 373. JV Boys did pull out a win with Gabe Dymond bowling his PR of 235 and 371. Nice job Jv!

The Charger bowling teams took on Lakota on Senior night with both Varsity Boys and Girls taking home victories!  Lady Chargers won convincingly with Addyson Puraty leading the way with 375, Lydia McQuillen with 342 and Rory Conrad with 337. Chargers guys also won convincingly with Aydan Houser with 388 and Wyatt Ball with 383.

Varsity/JV Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Old Fort

The Charger bowling teams took on Old Fort tonight in another away conference match-up.  Lady Chargers bowled well and came out on top with a nice win!
Leading the girls was Haley Chaput with 311 and Rory Conrad with 304.
Charger guys went up against a very much improved Old Fort team and struggled most of night losing a tough one! Leading the boys was Hayden Lewis with 432 and Aydan Houser with 323.  JV boys also bowled and came out with a nice win. Leading the JV boys was Korrigan Sanders with 295 and Blayke McKillips with 280.

The Charger bowling teams were on the road again taking on New Riegel in a conference match-up! Girls and Guys both came out on top with convincing wins!
Leading the Charger ladies was Rory Conrad with 270 and Addyson Puraty with 233. Pacing the Charger guys was Wyatt Ball with 335 and Haydan Lewis with 319. The JV Charger guys also bowled an unofficial match. Leading the JV boys was Blayke Mckillips with 305 and right behind was Gabe Dymond with 295.

The Charger bowling teams took on Willard in a battle of the undefeated. The boys started well taking an early lead after one game but fell behind by 98 pins going into the final baker game and shot a 209 game to just fall short by 3 pins! Nice come back guys!  Leading the boys was Aydan Houser with 407 and Haydan Lewis with 370.  
The Lady Chargers had a tough go at it from the start against a very good Willard girls team! Leading the girls was Rory Conrad with 275 and right behind was Lydia McQuillen and Addyson Puraty with 257.    Charger JV boys also bowled but also fell the Flashes. Leading the JV Boys was Gabe Dymond and Blayke McKillips.

The girls and guys bowled well Saturday at SBC with both teams placing in 2nd place.
Pacing the ladies was Lydia McQuillen with a 500 series and also placing 4th in the Ind. Medalist and Addyson Puraty with 458. Leading the boys was Hayden Lewis with 685 series and placing 2nd in the Ind. Medalist! Ayden Houser bowled well with a 550 series!

Charger bowlers went up against Margaretta yesterday in their last match of the 2021/22 season! There were quite a few high scores posted by both teams. The Chargers stayed close but eventually falling to the Polar Bears in the last baker game! Leading scorers for the Chargers were Christian Compton with 397 and a personal high game of 235 and Wyatt Ball with a very fine 390.

Congrats to Lady Charger bowlers placing 3rd in the team standings in Saturday’s SBC Conference Tournament!  Great bowling from Piper Ball placing 2nd in the individual medalist with a nice 532 series!   Charger guys finished 5th overall out of 8 teams and bowled well but couldn't get it going in the baker games. They also broke the Baker game record of 251 by shooting 258! The JV also beat Perkins with Allison Collins leading the way with a 352 and Gabby Reiter with a 296. The boys took on undefeated Perkins and fell to a very good team. The girls varsity bowling team had an outstanding night winning against Old Fort. Leading the team was Kaylie Harris, next was Piper Ball with a 352 and close behind was Allison Collins with 343.

Varsity boy’s bowlers also had a great night with Dakota Williams leading the way with a very nice 435 and close behind Kameron McDonald with 410.

Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Willard

The varsity girls bowling team lost a close match to Willard with Natalie Costello leading with a 384 and Piper Ball with a 313. The JV girls won against Willard with Emma Keefe leading the way with 297 and Allison Collins close behind with a 285.

The Varsity boys also lost a close match by only 29 pins. Leading the boys was Corbin Taylor with a 392 and Kameron McDonald close behind with 372. JV boys lost as well with Kristian Brown leading the way with a 313 series!

Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling - SBC Tournament

Congratulations Lady Charger bowlers, it was a very good weekend for the ladies as they won the Sandusky Bay Conference Tournament for the 2nd straight year! Leading the way for the Chargers was Natalie Costello finishing in 1st place in the Bay Division with a very nice 553 series! Varsity/JV Boys Bowling vs. Fremont St. Joe

The Chargers Boys bowling team took on Fremont SJCC last night and lost both matches. Leading the Varsity was Brandon Goodrich with a very nice 487 total for two games breaking the school series record by 7 pins and just missing the high game record by 4 pins. Great job Brandon! The JV Boys were led by Gideon Kellenbarger with 239 and Christian Compton with 213. More +

Varsity Boys/Girls Bowling vs. Huron

Great job Lady Charger bowlers - beating Huron by over 800 pins. Leading the way was Kaylie Harris with a total of 407 and not far behind was Lily Shover with 382. Also breaking records with a single baker game of 223 and single team game of 992.  JV did great with Kristian Brown leading with 336 and Grace Brown 298.
The boys came out cold and fought back but eventually falling to the Huron Boys by 39 pins. Leading the way was Brandon Goodrich with a nice 383 and Cody Williams with 379.

Bowling Sign-Ups and Meeting

Anyone interested in being on the bowling teams this year should stop into the athletic office and sign up this week. There will be a very short informational meeting in the auditorium on Friday at 2:50 pm for anyone interested. More +
