The Edison Girls Soccer team scored a victory on Senior Night Tuesday over Sandusky by a score of 8-0. Amelia Chartrant led the scoring attack with 5 goals scored on the evening. Fellow seniors Lanie Keegan and Ingrid Berckmueller each scored a goal of their own, and Stella Bloom also scored for Edison. Kellyn Ritchie led the team with 2 assists on the evening, and Ella Rogers earned the shutout in goal with 3 saves. A special shout-out goes to the five seniors (Taylor Geiger, Rachel Frederick, Ingrid Berckmueller, Lanie Keegan, and Amelia Chartrant). This is a special group of seniors whose impact and influence will be felt in this program for many years to come. The next match for the Lady Chargers is Thursday, October 10th at home vs Mansfield Christian.
The Edison Girls Soccer team put forth an incredible effort to earn a 1-1 draw with Port Clinton Monday evening. Lanie Keegan scored an unassisted goal with 6 seconds left to give the Lady Chargers a positive result. Ella Rogers made 3 saves in goal and helped lead a great defensive effort to secure the tie.
The Lady Chargers Soccer team came out victorious today over Ashland Crestview by a score of 3-1. Amelia Chartrant scored a goal and assisted on the other two goals for Edison. Rachel Frederick and Mya Koch each added goals of their own, and Alanie Keegan added an assist, all in the first half. Ella Rogers made a season-high 15 saves in goal and helped lead a great defensive effort for the Lady Chargers. Edison’s next match is Monday, September 16th at Huron (5 pm).

Amelia Chartrant led the offensive scoring attack with 5 goals on the evening, including 4 in the first half. Ingrid Berckmueller added a goal and an assist in the first half, with Alaina Keegan contributing an assist in the first half. Kellyn Ritchie finished off the scoring with two goals of her own in the second half. Ella Rogers recorded 9 saves in goal for Edison, and the Lady Chargers played a solid game defensively. Leading the attack was Amelia Chartrant who notched a hat trick with one goal in the first half and two more in the second while chipping in with an assist in the first half. Alaina Keegan scored two goals of her own in the first half and added three assists for a very well-rounded attack. Kellyn Ritchie also had a goal and an assist of her own. Ella Rogers earned four saves in goal and helped contribute to a great team performance defensively. The next varsity match for the Lady Chargers is Monday, September 9th vs Tiffin Columbian (Home - 4:30 pm).
