Girls Soccer vs Tiffin Columbian

Edison Girls Soccer was victorious tonight over Tiffin Columbian by a score of 7-0.  Amelia Chartrant scored 4 goals to lead the Lady Chargers offensively.  Ingrid Berckmueller, Kellyn Ritchie, and Emma Lesniak each added a goal.  Kellyn Ritchie led the team with two assists, followed by Alaina Keegan, Joy Jordan, and Emma Lesniak with one each.  Ella Rogers earned the shutout in goal and made seven saves in goal.  The next varsity match is Thursday, September 12th vs Vermilion (4:30 pm).

Girls Soccer vs Clyde

The Lady Chargers soccer team earned a hard-fought victory over Clyde by a score of 6-1.  Leading the attack was Amelia Chartrant who notched a hat trick with one goal in the first half and two more in the second while chipping in with an assist in the first half.  Alaina Keegan scored two goals of her own in the first half and added three assists for a very well-rounded attack.  Kellyn Ritchie also had a goal and an assist of her own.  Ella Rogers earned four saves in goal and helped contribute to a great team performance defensively.  The next varsity match for the Lady Chargers is Monday, September 9th vs Tiffin Columbian (Home - 4:30 pm).

Girls Soccer vs Bellevue

The Lady Chargers soccer team defeated Bellevue tonight by a score of 6-0.  Amelia Chartrant led the attack with 4 goals (2 in each half) and added an assist.  Kellyn Ritchie and Rachel Frederick added a goal each in the victory, and Alaina Keegan, Stella Bloom, and Emma Lesniak had assists.  Ella Rogers earned the shutout in goal and added a save in the win.  The next match for the Lady Chargers is this Wednesday as they come back to Bolt Field to take on Woodmore (5 pm start).

Girls Soccer vs Eastwood

The Lady Chargers soccer team won their match against Upper Sandusky by a score of 3-0.  Amelia Chartrant earned herself a hat trick, with two goals in the first half and one more in the second half.  Kellyn Ritchie notched assists on two of Amelia’s goals, one in each half.  Ella Rogers made four saves in goal.  The girls showed lots of grit and determination with a great defensive effort while capitalizing on their opportunities offensively.  Their record improves to 1-2-0 on the season.  The next match is Monday, August 26th at home vs Bellevue.
